I recently upgraded to an mkII Rytm. On my mkI, I could easily change the sample that plays on any given track in scene edit mode. However, on the mkII, when I try to change the sample that plays in scene edit mode, the Rytm jumps to play mode and changes the primary sample on the track instead of in scene mode as intended. I can change any other parameters in scene mode properly, just not the sample that plays.
This scene-based sample swap is a feature I use constantly - is this a bug or is the mkII not capable of doing this for some reason?
I’m on 1.40C, by the way.
