When I’m using the Rytm Mk2 with just the analog engines on say, the kick drum, the Attack, Decay and Sustain knobs dont have any effect on the sound. I will have the sample engine turned off completely. Does anyone know why this may be? I believe those parameters are on the AMP page but cannot recall at the moment and am not in front of my Rytm. Are they for samples only? Still learning!
Try changing the HLD parameter to something other than ‘auto’. That should make the attack and decay responsive. When set to ‘auto’, it basically holds the VCA open.

Nah. Hold on AUTO holds the sustain phase for as long as the pad is pressed.
But if you have trigged the sound once with Decay set to INF, the envelope won’t close. The other envelope settings seemingly won’t have any effect.
So. Decay to something other than INF and you’ll be good.
