Thanks for the info you shared in this post.
I managed to set up a drum rack with each pad containing an external instrument, ch 1-12, it controls the rytm, no problem.
If I want to record a parameter change from the rytm to ableton, under midi port config I set output to usb, but when I changed a parameter it gets changed across all channels (sounds) of the rytm.
At some point it was working ( I had the bug with the mute led half lit) then the rytm went crazy and it reset the whole project.
Now, when set to usb mode with receive cc on, any parameter change affects every channel.
I hope I explained myself, thanks
It seems whn you use external instrument on a midi track it works.
but using it from a drumrack not⌠very frustrating because with the receive notes from the drumrack you could do some crazystuff with just 1 midiclipâŚ
instead of 12 midi chanels with a clip for each pad in the rytmâŚ
hello elektronauts,
as the last post is from 5 years ago,
can I ask you guys what is your current workflow to record the AR on Ableton in a jam situation ?
Do you guys use Overbridge ?
if you use Overbridge it seems many of the great possibilities of the AR are turned off (like mute pads for instance)
