Rytm connect with Ableton
Have taken (External Instrument)
Midi track is not from the Level of the Vhannel
When I select it via the Channels of my Soundcard I hear the Sound twice
Whether midi or audio track
Want it like to integrate via midi track and record as audio
Not 100% clear on your current process, from your description
However if you want to ‘integrate via midi’ and record via audio -
Connect a Midi cable from the output of your DAW into the input of your Rytm. And then within your DAW set that output to send a sync message to the Rytm. This will enable the Rytm’s sequencer to act as a slave to your DAW (it will start and stop when you press play/stop in your DAW and play at the same tempo),
Once you have the pattern ready to be recorded to audio (you can either record the sum of all tracks within the rytm, or choose to record each track + fx seperately via the multiple outputs available on the Rytm) - connect the output of the Rytm to the input of your soundcard. Then create an audio track in your DAW and set the input on that channel to be the same as the input your Rytm is plugged into. Then arm the track, and record!
Pls excuse me if I’m stating the obvious here, but I wasn’t sure from your post exactly what you wanted to do.
You will eventually be able to record the audio, and sync the Rytm and actually integrate the machine into your DAW, in a great way once Overbridge is released, so go and look into that if you’ve not heard about it
i would like to understand how to connect properly my daw with AR but i’m had a lot of issues.
Inside the option of this machine ther’s one saying to connect midi input via usb ( as i supposed ) but then when i open ableton i can t see AR locked to it and the alert EXT not appears.
I ve checked inside the option of my DAW and i set up correctly the midi configuration.
If you ve any suggestion i ll be so happy
