I did not want to wait for Elektron anymore and recently got the DB4, such a relieve after dealing with transition tricks for years with the OT!
- now I use the OT for what it is really good, messing up samples
- DB4 has 4 loopers for individual transitions between patterns or machines using the K2 and input matrix
- the DB4 makes the A4 mk1 sound suddenly 10 times better
- the effects are incredible
- the filters are fantastic
- a lot of flexibility with the input matrix giving access to 12 stereo channels of which you can use 4 at the time live while having 4 loops running to mix in, so you can mix 8 stereo sounds at the time + 1 line/mic input
