- I press RTRG (bottom left)
- Menu appears, I set Vel to -128 for a fade out
- I put AR into live record, press the pad to input notes
- However… recorded Trig does not contain Vel info,
- Vel set to 0!
- I have to then input Vel -128 manually…

Well, I have the same question. I really don’t understand what the VEL value in the RTRG pop-up is doing. It doesn’t seem to have any effect when pressing the pad+rtrg, it doesn’t get recorded into the sequencer, causing one to have to go and re-input the values as @Kroy stated above.
I’ve seen in multiple other places similar issues with the RTRG and aftertouch not being recorded, but this is a different thing: there are two places to enter VEL curve, but one doesn’t seem to actually do anything.
