Hello dears,
i write here a problem that i have with my Monomachine MK1, OS 1.32
I am a newbie of Elektron devices, so forgive me if this issue is quiet simple to solve. It would be great if it is not a gear defect!
So the machine is quiet old (6-7 years), I bought 2 weeks ago on second hand for a very low price, it works as it should for what is my impression(concerning the sound, knobs, keys etc.) but lately I tried to route the sound on to the additional output.
The additional outputs works but the sound is also routed to the master output even if the routing option is set to only one output (ex. only output routed to CD, other output set to mute).
So my question is: it is a defect due to the oldness of the machine?
What should i set if it is not a defect but a parameter issue?
Please let me know because the routing option is one of the important things on my work flow!
Look in global settings to see if you have it set to stereo or 6mono outputs.
Also, look into the kit settings and look at how the audio is being routed within the machine. You can route audio internally, but that’s different than using the individual outputs.
It doesn’t sound like there are any defects, mk1 is an awesome piece of kit, especially for the price.
sorry i may explained it not clear, the output refers to a singular track(the 5th in this case), i set it on the kit edit window, then 1st to 4th tracks are channeled to the master output.
it is a very strange behaviour which is not the first time i encounter.
i had a korg MX with the same problem: output on 3/4 was channeled (even if into a subtle level) on the master output.
yeah thanks!
that was my mistake, i fixed it today… i have also a machinedrum with all parts channeled on the A output and thought my B output was broken… by the way i am ready to get inside my machines now!
