The TR1000 also has a built in SYNC DELAY feature as well in 1.13.
highstandards indeed ^.^ looks like it does everything you"ll ever want it to do. but i would probably want to have an assistant to set this thing up too
but can you send 2 different clock settings out at once (with different offsets?)
Does it happen even if you you change patterns, but have it set so that the pattern change also changes the kit at the same time?
Yes
If you set it so the pattern doesnât change kit then it doesnât happen, if the pattern changes the kit then you get the audio gap.
Christmas is cancelled for the tr1k firmware devs
I saw this in another forum and would like to second this sentiment here in case the devs are looking. It would be such an amazing feature to be able to assign the morph fader to slices, and to be able to do this, making slices assignable to a knob.
How is everyoneâs gain staging when sampling from Ext. In? I feel like once the signal meter goes over -24 it starts so sound a bit crunchy, a bit maxed out. Iâm mostly recording modular so the signal is hot but it looks like the meter doesnât represent what I hear. I love the ease of the recording process but I donât like to normalize everything because most times it sounds a little hot. Iâd rather set it just right and have a perfect sample.
Exactly the same. My biggest issue with it actually.
To follow up on this: the problem I was having has been solved by Roland Support. I should RTFM more.
Where in the manual?
Yup.
Thatâs correct. Also, the Ext In Gain â â12 dB p. 44. It trims before the sampler; and sets what the recorder actually sees.
Thatâs useful to know
Would be useful to have access to the Ext Gain setting from the sampling screen.
Iâm surprised you canât assign the Level faders to the Morph slider. The only way to change track volumes when morphing is to assign Amp Gain to a knob. Seems like a waste of a knob when you already have Level faders on the front panel.
How are you guys dealing with patterns? Especially when triggering from external. I would love to trigger patterns with my Hapax but afaik there is no way to trigger variations. So my understanding would be that I have to create whole new patterns for every changed pattern? Maybe I havenât found a good approach for that yet.
Sounds about right and thatâs why I sequence stuff with a lot of variations from my Hapax unfortunatelyâŚ
