Roland TR-1000 Rhythm Composer

Hoping it’s a proper successor to the MC-909.

Could be an SH-4D with a keyboard.

If it’s 909 based it seems weird they would announce it a few days after 909 day.

I already feel like I’m most likely going to buy this if it is in fact a new flagship Aira model specializing in percussion.

Dear wallet. Let’s hope it’s not a groove box. It’s been nice while it lasted. It’s not you. It’s me.

Grooveboxes are not Roland’s strongest swing. I would be thrilled with a solid bunt in the area of a hybrid synth or 909 based drum machine. I would not be thrilled with another Zen-Core device or other similar block of cheese.

Give me a MV8800 update but in small form factor. Or heck just a Sp404 with better sequencer and bigger screen

It’s a TR 8-S that‘s loaded with samples from Greek mythology and an ugly font that’s befitting.

Wild idea. SYSTEM 404. Basically a 404 MKII meets a System 1.

A-01 mk2?

i have one of these, what i liked about it was the arp/sequencer options… and bluetooth.
its a bit ‘8-bit’ and noisy.
