Was reading about freezes above thread. I’m hoping the TR1000 can handle multiple stems without issues.

Did none of you users here check this ?
If bending the CR78 ACB is possible would be one of the first things i would check…

People have different interests…Tweaking the CR78 doesn’t happen to be high up in my queue… :person_shrugging:t5:

But next time I’m in front of my TR-1000 I’ll take a look at the ACB parameters…

Only 808 and 909 8X and 9X ACB models.

thanks…
maybe Roland will expand more with future updates

Looks to me like internal resampling is at the very end of the chain, yeah?

Meaning that you can internally resample and it will capture the 1176 compressor master fx, or playing with the analogue drive/filter, basically everything?

Is this new?

That text is indeed new, but the checksum of the firmware zip files has not changed.

But maybe they’re staging a FW update?

I don’t think it’s new. I believe this was the firmware update that was available on launch day.

But the text of changes peviously including something about MIDI timing, didn’t it?

I don’t know about the text, but the firmware number is the same. Maybe then edited the text?

Bout a week in with this thing.

BEST DRUM MACHINE OF ALL TIME.

finally getting to loading up some classic sample packs. Linndrum, DMX, etc

This thing can emulate damn near any drum machine. The menu diving is actually not bad everything is pretty immediate.

The fx processing is actually pretty deep. Haven’t even gotten to the sampler engine. But man, I love this thing.

The compressors, sidechaining, all the sequencer tricks, the layering.

Top tier machine, didn’t skimp on any features.

Love elektron but seems like they design stuff not to compete with their other boxes. The only thing missing from this is maybe a proper synth engine that can be played chromatically over midi but whatever. It’s a drum machine not a groove box.

But can’t recommend it enough.

Rytm, Perkons, Jomox, Modor, Isla all flagships run about 2k. I get the complaints on price.

But boutique 909/808 clones aren’t cheap, neither are the ones mentioned above.

Sell whatever u need to get this thing, it can probably emulate whatever u have anyway.

Thank u Roland. Future classic.

I bought a Redshift 6 synth to go alongside the TR1000. It’s a great pairing and covers all the sonic territory that I need :boom:

Was thinking about the redshift.

It’s easy to use and can cover a lot of ground as a mono or poly synth. It can even act as a drum synth with its 6-part multitimbrality. Crazy capability for the price!

The 1176 master comp is a beast for sure.

I have to simplify. I end up napping so many knobs that I can’t remember everything in a jam.

So I think I’m going to use all the patterns for variations just so I can simplify a little.

All need to figure out how I want to route everything. Maybe master comp into analog fx main outs and reverb delay into effect outs.

Just have to nail the takes because you can’t edit those after. And the effects sound so good that I’d rather use them than daw plugins.

Buddies for life, I think.

for owners : do you think it truly replaces og 909 and 808 in pure sonic way ?
