I’m really trying to come up with a spicy beets joke, but spicy salad topping weren’t really Wendy’s thing.

In all honesty, I’d love a TR1000 (and a new vac)

…as long as it delivers, this one is with MPC and GR-1. Last time I saw Regis, he came with USB stick and microphone only

Quick update, the Nome2 does not seem to have clock offset, so advantage to E-RM there. If anyone figures out otherwise, please share.

Anyway I’m diving into designing kicks on this thing now. It’s quite awesome. My benchmark at the moment is a deep 909 kick I sampled off one of my house vinyls. The TR-1000 is smoking it and it took just a few minutes of tweaking. FYI - the default tuning of the analogue 909 is a lot deeper than the stock TR909 setting, so bump up the tuning if you want that OG sound.

I am going to mess with the layering on top of the analogue 909 and see how that works.

This is the fun stuff.

I saw Gescom at Manchester Cathedral with 4 minidisk players … amazing.

I don’t have a TR 1000 but I think that for a set up involving a DAW the Erm multiclock would do a perfect job.
I’ve been using it in my studio for years and saved me a lot of fiddling around and post production pain.

How did I get added to the Mick Fuckin’ Harris thread?

Never seen this guy before but to me he looks like thr middle point between Colin Farrell and Charles Menson.
Well i do agree with him but i wouldn’t mind having a TR-fakn-1000  not the slightest bit

This should be changed into a Mick Harris thread

You mean the ones who hadn’t noticed that when praising the machine in their videos?

I really like the nome2. It does everything except the offset. I had an ERM and the weakness of that is it’s price and that it needs 1 bar to sync up every time. With the Nome, it uses a plugin that puts your first bar dead on.

If they can add offset to the Nome it will be perfect for me. E-RM is awesome if you need a lot of MIDI ports, since the Nome only has 2.
