How are people feeling about the DJ Tech Tools Chroma Caps? How hard was it to replace the knobs/encoder?

Wow, this was lovely! Windows down clear skies driving through autumn color trees lovely. Thank you for sharing!

I have them on my SX and will update the MKII soon. They are easy, need a good pull and they come right off.

Thanks for listening! SP added a lot to this one for sure

It reminded me of “old” dnb in the best way possible. And I used to drive around listening to it in those exact conditions.

I wanted mine to arrive today but Royal Mail delays say NO :slightly_frowning_face:

I just wanted to mention the initial start of this wonderful thread being Loopops video.

How amazing is his track”The Trip starts here”?

I’m a huge fan of Loopop, especially his music

Royal Mail should sort me out today but I won’t be in to play with it, so tomorrow!

Posted this elsewhere…

I want to sample this to make some experimental noise shit on the SP, but it would be nice to do it in time.

I also have an iPad and Syntakt. Can anyone advice on the steps to get it tempo synced, and to perhaps have some control over gate notes and pitch? New to CV related stuff - assuming I can get some sort of midi to CV converter. Is it just cables or anything further needed?

And who can share tricks on file management? The idea was to take sp and uno synth, sample with sp uno synth. But the inability to name / rename files is very confusing. I’m afraid that in the future the library will turn into a complete mess.

It’s not big on naming is it? I find it weird that it tells me shit I don’t need to know with such enthusiasm (tempo, yay, look, look again!) but you have to press the oddly-named Remain button to see the sample name - and that’s only really worthwhile when you’ve imported them.

One of my favorites. The “leave no prints on the murder scene” comment is gold.

Don’t try any of the previous models, all you get is tempo.

Never been interested in any before but my pal brought his mk2 round, we got stoned, it did some good shit so I ordered what appeared to be the last one at Juno out of sheer excitement. Then I started finding the stupid annoying things it does, like keep having to stop. Oh, and accidentally adjusting the wrong parameter due to screen time-outs. I never want to see the fecking tempo - I’m extenally synced.

Welcome to the SP world, Ha! It can be a love-hate relationship for sure.

If you hold remain while hitting the desired EFX it will stay on the parameters page.

Remain has a variety of uses it seems - but remembering you need to press it to make the machine work how it should automatically, grrrrrrr… must try harder. I’m absolutely never interested in seeing what it thinks is the tempo, but can the 404 accept that, can it buggery!

Just a friendly reminder to hit that Remain button.

It’s here. Couple of hours and I’m into the swing of it  all about a combo of sequencer and re-sample to make it easier!
