Roland AIRA Compact Series: T-8 beat, J-6 chord & E-4 voice

Fair point

Yeah, I am pretty keen on the J-6 to sequence chords to other gear, it’s so tiny for what it can output also.

Oh wow it can sequence other gear? If so, I’m sold!

Pretty sure. Don’t quote me

Yeh I was hoping it allowed users to switch between any sound from the 909,808, or 606. Feels like it could be added with a shortcut.

Seems it could offer a simplified but way more immediate way to get the ‘accompaniment’ type tracks you find on older things like QY-70s.

Has an intended release date been mentioned? I just skimmed the thread here but didn’t see anything.

So Roland… Are you gonna release a small (MX-1 type) compact mixer?
Cause yeah… Would love a tiny USB hub/mixer for on the go.

Call me! :kissing_heart:

Think you have to pre order now if you didn’t already and want it asap. They’re probably start shipping within a few weeks or so.

Just pulled the trigger on the T8 for this exact reason! it’s a tiny, battery powered ACB 303 that happens to also have some ACB x0x drums inside too. i have both TD3 and TR8S, but both are too big for my liveset rig alongside everything else, and also require PSUs.

for 200€ this is a no-brainer.

Really hope that an update will include other drum sounds in the T-8, a full 606 kit would be nice

I’d like some 909 hats

i have an MC707 and TR8S that i run into my OT, i think the E4 voice box will work out for me, real good…

i would prefer if they made a better version of a volca mixer, because i think we all see a huge room for improvement. think if roland put a usbc on an 8 channel mini mixer… holy shit…

They could charge for it like the tr8 :joy:

& I’d probably pay if it included 707 again

You know I wouldn’t put it past them :joy:

For someone just starting the T8 would be a cheap entry. Also handy to match up with a Eurorack system to supply drums and a bass line. I’m most interested in the E-4. But honestly, if you buy the T-8 and J-6 you might as well pay a bit more and get the MC-101.

I don’t know. The new little ones seem a little easier to navigate than the MC101. I personally didn’t like that thing
