RIP Sandy.
« Let’s get physical « …I loved that song
That was my own very first vinyl in 1981. ONJ has a special place in my heart.
RIP
RIVIP
My partner points out that ONJ’s maternal grandfather was Nobel Prize winning physicist Max Born, and her father worked at Bletchley Park during WWII and took Rudolf Hess into custody. I will now think of her fondly as Olivia Newton-Metre. “Lemme hear your body torque!”. (I am old enough to have been a fan of her early pop singles before her mega-popularity with Grease.)
Had the pleasure to meet her once at my in laws some years ago. I was totally star struck it was surreal. She was friendly vibrant and charming. RIP
RIP to Olivia.
My very first crush. So saddened by her passing, she was a huge part of my youth and I still think some of the work she did with John Farrar is underrated.
