Ride cymbal

Pretty new to the D̶T̶ DN. love it. have been looking forward to owning it for a long time. I’ve been trying to design some go-to drum sounds and I’m at a loss for ride sounds. anyone have some favorite tricks for getting a good ride cymbal on this thing?

Just for you to know, DT stands for Digitakt and DN stands for Digitone.

I actually knew that, I swear I just had a brain fart.

I’m thankful that some obscure company in the Balkans has not released a series of in-demand devices whose names differ in the fifteenth and last letter.

In the presets there’s probably a ride cymbal patch. Start from there. Reverse engineer it, experiment. See what you come up with.

that’s actually why I’m asking here. there isn’t really.

I’m having some luck by using a high frequency random LFO on certain parameters, feedback, etc. but I just wanted to know what other people’s approaches might be.

This free pack has at least 3 cymbal sounds. (DN presets and as samples)

Worth checking out and dissecting the patches.

The (essential, free) soundpack Uncanny Valley contains 4 cymbals.
