Here is a preview of a retrowave project I’m working on with A4/RYTM. What do you think? Does it sound retro?
I like it! It’s funny, even though your palate of sounds is really 80s you can hear a sort of modern Elektron sound coming through… The synth patches are just that little bit more textural and wavy than actual 80s patches which tended to be more direct. This is a good thing in my opinion. You’ve captured the essence of the era.
