If it’s a memory issue they should steal a bit from the VEL parameter - so that it would only allow even values from now on - literally no one would notice an audible difference - and that would enable them to use it as a Retrig Enable bit, which disables NOT2 NOT3 and NOT4 and replaces them with Retrig parameters.

are there still no MIDI retriggers on Digitakt? I’m thinking of getting one but I really need that functionality.
