I never really noticed, but a lot of Reverb sellers are so unserious. You can get a DT1 for $485 right now, it’s a little dusty, so maybe go for the one that’s $500 + $20 shipping that looks brand new. Who would buy the one that’s $625 + $25 shipping that has stickers on the front panel? The most expensive they’ve gone for in the past year is $520.

I don’t know, I just generally find the one that’s the cheapest in good condition with box and then I price mine a little lower so it will sell. I don’t understand the point of doing anything else.

Buyer’s market right now, generally speaking for audio devices, especially common ones.
Generally about 55-60% of new price incl taxes.
Every now and then you see somebody trying to sell something for the new price. Head scratcher. There is actually a guy locally trying to sell a Rytm Mk2 for over the new price.

It’s the special edition. Only one was purchased… …by him… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yall would get a kick out of the local listing I’ve been seeing for well over a month now.

“$5500, Digitone 2, Analog heat FX, Octatrack MKII, Analog 4 MKII, Analog Rytm MKII, Apollo Twin and Nintendo Switch 2 (Basically free with purchase)

*Selling all together - not taking offers for individual items…”

Awesome. Throw in an ironing board and a pasta extruder and you’ve got yourself a deal!

For Germans, saw few for 360, 380 Euro on kleinanzeigen

I think everyone has TB303-itis.

That said I have my Zoom ARQ carefully stored in a humidifier for the crazee prices in 2030

Even Perfect Circuit with their 4 e25 DTs at $860 each when there’s another one up there for $575. Come on.

Even ignoring the Switch 2 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:, if you do the math that’s not actually a bad deal if they’re all excellent-to-mint and depending on which Apollo Twin model is included. If you could get them to knock the price down another 10% it would be an excellent deal.

But insisting someone buy the whole lot outright, suggests the seller may have listed them to get someone off his/her back rather than actually wanting to sell them?

Now that’s an angle I hadn’t thought of. If that’s the case then rock on, but if not this probably would’ve all sold by now if it were split up.

I would like to buy a secondhand e25 DT at a fair and at sometimes low price. And is there a e25 DNK prototype?

So if a person has never used an Elektron device, like I hadn’t until I got the OG DT, they could pickup the classic OG DT/DN combo for about the same price as a new Bento or an MPCkeys? For 1 standard Bento unit of currency?

The responsibility of handling so much power however, can not be bought.

Meanwhile I notice Octatrack MK1 is building up that “vintage” premium again in the past 6 months…I was so close to getting one on here for about $500 last year, now hard to find them for under $900 list on Reverb…which again seems silly when you can often find good condition MK2 for $1000 or a touch more….

Feels like home
