I am using Octatrack as a performance mixer (EZ BOT template) for transition effects and looping. The rest of the Octa I am not using anymore. I use Syntakt and Digitakt for the sequencer, sampler duties.
The drawback is that the Octa only has 4 inputs and I really don’t need all those other features. I was thinking about using Ableton and a MIDI Fader to replace the octa. Are there transition/master effects and a looper that work similar to what the Octatrack does ? Especially risers and stuff like that ? Thanks a lot !
