I’m after a replacement LCD screen for my AKAI S3000XL and wondered if anyone had any good recommendations? I’ve seen one on eBay for £95, but can’t seem to find any other options out there. I’m UK based but willing to pay import if needed. Any help would be appreciated - thx! 
Did you try Reverb? There are usually parts sellers on there as well.

Easy to fit, works fine.

Maybe not as bright as those (LED?) ones on reverb, but a quarter of the price.

Thanks, looks good that one. I can’t work out if my mine is losing contrast as it still feels bright but hard to read from certain angles.
This is as bright as it gets, and you have to be straight on to read it clear enough…
Yeah, that’s not terrible, but a bit washed out. I assume you’ve fiddled with the display contrast knob and that’s the best you can get?
The one on reverb (and the similar £100+ ones on ebay) do look much brighter and clearer, but I dunno if those photos are really genuine, or if the colours have been edited to make it look better. If they really look like that, £100 might be worth it, but you’d be pissed off if it arrives and is no better than the £25 one.

Yeah thanks, I’ve messed with the contrast and that’s at the best setting. My room is pretty neutral with lighting, so no glare or facing windows or anything out the ordinary. I used to have an EMU ESI4000 Turbo, and that screen was really clear. I wonder if it’s just faded a little like you say. I reckon the £25 one should be much better than the one I have in there, especially as it looks bright enough in your pic.
