Is it possible to replace a sample in Transfer with the same name but just updated sound?
I tried deleting the sample first, sending the new one (same name) and reloading the project on the DT. This just deletes the sample from the RAM and leaves the sample slot empty.
Samples are not identified by name on the digitakt. The machine uses a unique hash number per sample to identify and locate the sample on the +drive. So giving a sample the same name as another doesn’t equal the results you are looking for.
Understood. That’s why I hoped Transfer would do that for me…
Is there a way to do what I want to achieve or do I have to manually reload all samples into RAM on DT?
You will have to manually reload all the sample you want to replace in a project
Alright… Might be a nice feature for the Transfer app
