Renaming a Factory Preset Sound on Model:Cycles

On Model:Cycles, is there any way to rename a stock factory preset (not a custom-saved one)? It doesn’t seem to work on the unit itself, and when I run the Transfer utility it doesn’t show any of the stock factory presets (preset list shows empty there - though I’m not sure if that’s because I’m on an old version of MacOS or because it’s just not supported).

Asking because I’m wanting to rename a couple of the presets to make them “family friendly”… :slight_smile:

If you want to rename them in place, in the factory folder, I’m 99.99% sure you’re out of luck.

You can however, take a copy of the factory folder and then rename and reorganise as much as you want, but the original factory folder will still be there.

If you want to know how do that, I’ll hunt down the post I made about doing that.
