Remove OB icon from Mac Menu Bar?

Is there anyway to do this? I don’t think it needs to live up there on my tiny 14" display. So far, I can’t find anyway to remove it.

Can you drag it off? Right-click then remove from dock?

If it’s running, it lives there.

If you are on a Mac, Click Apple logo top left > System settings > General > Login items & Extensions.

Yeah doesn’t work.

I still want it to load on login, I just don’t need to see it up in the menu bar (there are other things I’d prefer up there).

TBH I find it pointless why it’s up there. I can simply open the control panel app if I need to see if devices are connected or not. As mentioned, I have very little room in my menu bar and have other menu items that are more useful which won’t fit because of the branded E that sits there doing nothing.

Will try the GitHub link - looks promising.

I use ‎Hidden Bar on the Mac App Store to achieve what you want to do. Easy to install.

…practical or not…i like that little elektron icon logo in my topbar, right next to to the speaker icon…
even given the fact, that i never use ob…

i purchased my very first uad plugin recently…now the elektron logo got company…ua it states now, right next to it…hmmmm…like that, too…but the question remains…how to get rid of such things, if they’re not listed in the official systemsettings…

hide the whole thing seems not really THE solution…more like an unconvenienent workaround…

The UAD one annoys me because it keeps auto updating and there doesn’t seem to be any way to disable it but I don’t mind the Elektron one. AFAIK the only way to hide it is with a third party app. There’s one called Bartender but I haven’t tried it
