Recording track

Hi all,

maybe the stupist question here but what u need to record a track with the Elektron?

Its my first harware so im a leek in this world…

Stupid as i am, ordered it yesterday so in 2 days i got the machine, was so in love with the sounds but dont know a thing about it

I have a traktor s2 dj gear and a extern Audio 6 soundcard .

Little low budget now so what is the best i can buy to record tracks with the Rytm and with good qualty?

Maybe not the good forum but i dont find alot about recordin with hardware :s

With overbridge should you be able to record at least 6 of the 8 voices of the AR over the usb cable and for the other 2 you can probably use your audiointerface.

@R@PTOR if all you need is record the main out, you have to know that the AR is a soundcard in itself, so you just need a software basically :slight_smile:

Software like ableton? I have Fl studio but i think that daw dont support the elektron.

Or the elektron have software to record?

I was talking about Ableton.
I’m not sure you really need the Overbridge VST to access your AR outs from FruityLoops.
