Well, what are you doing it on, what Poly settings are you using ? Do you have legato on ? What envelope types/settings ? i.e. does it work fine from a clear track / clear kit startpoint ?

fwiw - on the A4 it’s never given me an issue (recording note lengths) as long as you respect what’s possible on a step sequencer - legato cannot be record-captured, but can be played live / tweaked

Hi, does anyone have an answer to this? Because I’ve just unexpectedly run into this problem. I’m not sure if I’ve inadvertently changed a setting, because I could have sworn it worked the other day!

ah, i think my problem was that i was trying to record legato as well.

is it possible to live record legato on the A4? am i missing a setting?
