thanks, very difficult to find out, eventhough the question is rather simple… how come you can play notes from the DAW but not recording them?

I’m trying acheive it on the Digitone now and I wonder if it would work using this external instrument trick, or just using regular MIDI as DanJamesAUS said, but, over USB (avoiding to change your cable configuration each time you’d like to do this)

Anyone could do it?
