Recording Buffer Error (solved)

Hi Guys!

I had an issue regarding my new OT Mkii.

Recently i was discovering this beauty and sampling external and in this case resampling from the previous track.

I was recording from Track 6 to Track 7 then instantly the audio were clipping and the sample was not balanced at all! (and if i change recording buffer for example from 7 to 4 the samples is fine)

I’ve attached the img below (if i did it correctly)

I do not know if it was a software bug also because in the screen all the tracks were recording all tighter with no sense.

Can you show the REC1 settings page for Track 6 and 7?

[T6/7] -> [FUNC]+[REC1]

first of all thanks for your message!

Here settings for T6/7

i’ve tried to disable inAB and inCD while resampling and the samples become more unbalanced. (it makes no sense)

Do you have trigs on flex machines T6, T7?
If so, you may be recording all inputs, plus the main output, then playing the exact same samples on 2 tracks at the same time. So of course it sounds weird.

If you want to record T6 onto any recorder buffer, all you have to do is tell that recorder buffer to record SRC T6. Turn everything else off. Now any flex machine can play the recorder buffer you just used.

Flex machines and recorder buffers are 100% independent.
