Record MIDI on the perform mode/sequencer?

Hi there!

I’ve been recording the MIDI signal of Analog Rhythm MK2 on Logic it works fine when i play the pads as i set all the channels it plays back to me after i recorded it etc PERFECT. But when i start a sequencer or a song mode it won’t record any midi.

I set the Perform Chanel but it won’t respond!

Any idea?

The sequencer doesn’t output midi, just the pads, pressure and encoders.

It would help on the production, i hope it comes in a future update !

Alas if you wanna midi sequence external gear with an elektron, you need an octa or a digitakt.

The sequencer of the AR isn’t foreseen to send MIDI. Same goes for the A4/AK.
EDIT: From my experience Elektron seem to have a policy to keep such things as is. This is sad, but I don’t expect Elektron to change this.

This opinion (technically fake news) can’t possibly be substantiated and indeed if you followed the earlier discussions on this you’d appreciate there is more behind it, along with a very faint hope - best to make such statements clear as opinions for new readers
