I was also going to ask him how large a house he lives in that he can’t find some of the largest effects pedals known to man! haha.
I’m just jealous as I live in a tiny box.

2200 square foot house lot of large full closets. I am slow getting back in the flow after the surgery recovery. Finding my long lost beloved Strymon pedals and jamming last night on my new Jomox Alphabase MK2 was fantastic. I was really impressed by how good and easy to use the effects are on my TX-6 mixer as well. No need to buy anything else except for cables for another few years. I have my effects, sequencers, drums and bass needs well covered now for long time until I sell off more unused gear. Buchla Music Easel, Perkons, Hexdrum machine, Syncussion Sy-1, Waldorf M, and Prophet 10 on future wishlist along with Cirklon v2 sequencer as my studio needs grow. Probably get another Jasper stand as next purchase. That is why I invest in stocks lol.
I saved for 20 years to buy my first home and rented crappy apartments in the ghetto before so I can empathize. You would laugh at how crowded my tiny apartment used to be as synths took up more room than furniture lol. But now my home is getting saturated so this is probably last gear purchase for long time until I either sell half or buy a larger home lol. Would love a 6k square foot home on 10 acres with a pond, barn and greenhouse in the country when I retire. Then I can have a studio like Deadmau5, Aphex Twin, Martin Gore or Trent Reznor! Those wealthy cats are super talented artists that also were lucky to be on the music scene at the right time and place and created awesome music with guitars and synths.
Id say it depends a lot on the music you make and the aesthetic that you like.
My recommendations are all contextual, not comparable:
If using software then my top picks are:
Some decent reverbs also in the Zoom Multistomps and also Roland SP-404MKII if you want to gain a whole lot of other goodies at the same time.
I think what I want is to add to what is missing as I have most of the Strymon effects pedals: Timeline, Big Sky, Moebius, Brigadier and Elektron Analog Heat and on board effects on most synths and mixers. I also love the cool fx on my SP 404 MK2 and OT. My modulars have effects too. I like to create ambient, techno, industrial, experimental, house and trance styles of music. A few synths like my Oberheim, Moog Sub 37, DB01 and Wasp have zero on board effects.
In which case Desmodus Versio would be a fantastic option, it’s Eurorack though. It would be ideal for all of these genres (maybe less so house) and won’t have much cross over with your other verbs.
great recommendation and I do already have it in my 12mu case. It really brings my WMD drum modules to life. No worries, I have most bases covered. I do like the Erica Synths Zen Delay and Meris LVX delay effects from video demos and Eventide H90 would be super amazing as well. Maybe I save up for these three effects boxes and buy them on sale in the future. For live events, I plan to use effects on my TX-6 mixer and SP404 MK2 sampler and stuff like my endorphin.es milky way modules. My 7u case will have Strymon effects to help out.
Zen Delay is very fun - I had one for a while and it’s very characteristic and musical. I was inspired by how Bicep were using it.
However my summation is that you have more than enough reverbs, sir ![]()
Given your Strymon power house, I think you’d be quite disappointed about the significant overlap. A pity that you’re a few days late for the Chase Bliss Lost+Found. Next run is going to be in a year probably.
agree 100% and the Bliss looks cool. Fortunately I can wait a while ![]()
the Bliss reminds me of my EHX Canyon pedal.
Chase Bliss Onward, Mood MkII, Lossy and Generation Loss MkII are equally great for ambient music, though their learning curve may be steeper.
I need to hunt for these in used market as probably good deals at used music guitar shops.
Presumably many of these mentioned are maybe not so good for a send FX and meant to be ran in series.
Which ones would one recommend for Send
