I’m happy to release not one, not two, but three free sample packs today - titled ‘Reaktor Soundscapes’, this is a three-part release of 200 stereo loops from various Native Instruments Reaktor ensembles. I’ve worked them to cut off the unnecessarily low frequencies, softened really harsh transients and normalised everything to make them as consistent as possible. Also added a tiny bit of mid-side width to everything.
Why three packs, do you ask? Because Bandcamp has strict upload limits - if/when I eventually switch to a different platform, this will likely become one pack, as it was intended to be.
The files are provided in 24-bit, 48kHz.
Anyway, this is a selection of 200 soundscapes, drones, ambiences etc - on their own they’re great for sonic beds, sound design, yoga classes, immersion tanks etc, but they have wider uses such as for pads, risers and layering drums. Let your imagination run wild.
Oh yeah, these are all stereo! Throw them into the DT and assign random slices. Enjoy! Will add to the description.
Are there any other free soundscape-y ensembles you’d like to see in one of these? I trawled around for these ones but I’m sure there’s way more cool ones out there.
@Claid Wow, a great collection of samples. I will definitely try them out. The LXR samples are also very interesting for me. There’s a lot of work behind that. Thanks for that. I’ll follow you on BC. Keep up the good work.
Update - Praise be to the Bandcamp gods, for now the loops are uploaded in 24-bit, 48kHz rather than 16-bit! They doubled my upload space, so will be making the most of that.
