Quick question about the Pelicase 1510

I have a Watson eit-1 for my two machines.

Would I need to buy the Pelicase 1510 with foam inserts or does the eit provide adequate protection?

I would also be putting a couple of effects pedals in there.

I was wondering this same thing. Hoping I can squeeze my Electribe 2 in there too.

You’re good without the foam inserts. Watson designed the rack so that it would fit snugly but safely inside the 1510. I carry two racked Elektrons to gigs this way all the time and there’s room left over for lots of cables. I expect you’d have no trouble with most pedals (though I’d wrap them in a towel or something).

Not sure about your 'tribe though Victor – which model?

Good lord I forgot all about the Mackie 802.

Since this will involve travelling overseas a backpack isn’t an option.
Maybe I’ll have to buy without the foam, see what fits and then decide what comes with me (it’s not for gigging, but for taking away to a new work destination).

Also, if you’re a taller person, consider the HPRC 2550w, the trolley arm on it is a bit longer. A little more interior space than Pelican 1520 (and yet strangely a little smaller exterior dimensions as well).
Might give you the added room you need for the stomp pedals and what not.

Coldfuture:
I’m using the 2550w for 3 Elektrons. It would work for 2 Elektrons + electribe 2, but probably not with an EIT-1 rack in the mix, I doubt the 1520 would either.

Thanks for the tip on the alternative.

I might have to give some thought to leaving the mixer behind. There’s surely a way to use my MD and MM and some pedals without a mixer?..
