Questions using Os 1.30c

Hi.
I just installed the new OT Firmware the other day and started a fresh project.
I´m on Bank A Pattern 1-4 Part A, 5-8 Part B and so on. My patterns have scale mode per track.

I only got to working on pattern 1-4 so haven´t really touched the other parts as yet.
The patterns are roughly orginized so that
Pattern 1 will be the intro( just 1 track playing)
Pattern 2 (track 2 joins the party)
Pattern 3 (track 4 and 5 comes)
Pattern 4( Track 2 is empty, track 6 joins)

My problem is that when I´m changing between the Patterns, say coming from Pattern 4 to Pattern 1 some of the tracks are still playing even that there´s no trigs for them in Pattern 1.

The wierd thing is that some of the tracks playing(that shouldn´t) are 1 shot samples and the don´t repeat the rythmic movement that they where playing in Pattern 4 but just some hits.

I had a break from the OT and am feeling a little rusty, so I might be missing something obvious?

I’d place silent trigs on empty tracks, with AMP VOL=-63

If your samples are longer than patterns, or looped, it is normal they are played on next pattern if it doesn’t have trigs.

There is a Silence Tracks option, but apparently from a different part.

SILENCE TRACKS will, when checked, silence all tracks when changing to a pattern linked to a different part. The samples of the tracks will then enter their release phase as set in the AMP menu. When unchecked, samples from the previous pattern/part will continue to play until trigs occur on the tracks of the new pattern. Activate and deactivate this setting by pressing [ENTER/YES]. This setting affects all pattern in the project, but can be overridden on a per track basis. For more information, please see “12.10 PATTERN SETTINGS MENU” on page 73.

Thanks Sezare56.

I´ll look into both of the suggests.
