Qs on remixes/files

Greetings, the other OT remix threads didn’t touch on this specifically, I shoud know this by now, but before I start another remix:

Last remix basically how I used to do w/ASR, cut the stems up and resample/program/rewrite it.
I noticed that I must have forgotten to rename the files w/BPM because the longer (+64 bar) sections were pitched way low and had to run the OT tempo way up to get them synced.
So I just plug in a 3-digit # in the files then?
I believe I ran them all as flex, too.
I cut them in Audacity, and really didn’t try to figure out there how many bars the longer files are, usually the longest 45 seconds.
Which brings up a noob Q after all this time… I always run flexes thinking I can get all the parameter tweaks and locks since they are stored in RAM.
I understand statics are for longer files, but does this change the nature of tweakability, or is this just a matter of storage space?
Also, to get other OTers on remixes of my stuff, do I copy the Project file to computer and then a separate Audio folder?
I like the idea of people being able to just load up my tracks with all the associated trigs/scenes/patterns etc. and vice-versa. Never worked with a DAW like Ableton, no multitrack, so remixing and sending remixes- I “warn” people I can just send the orig. track with individual sounds and loops and they have to assemble it.
A label I have released on expressed interest in a remix release, so once I get the next album complete, I’d like to see what some of you would come up with!

Do you know that there exists a magic book of wonders where questions like the difference between static and flex machines are explained?

The track LFOs can not modulate the STRT parameter of a Static machine. The crossfader can, but if the modulation is too fast the Static machine will not be able to update the start point position correctly, re-sulting in the sample not being played. Once the Static machine catches up the sample will be played back from the correct start position. Parameter locking the STRT parameter will however make the sample play back exactly according to the locked position. Flex samples do not experience these limitations and will always play back from the correct position no matter how heavily modulated the STRT parameter is.

Does this secret book have a name you would like to generously disclose, say something I could find at my local library?
Thanks

You can get it even for free:

A flex machine is also required to play back the contents of a recording slot, I believe.
