Having recently purchased a P3S I am reminded of why it was I used only the OT before: bloody latency and sync setup does my head in.
Hapax has the capability to receive a CV clock from Ableton over an audio out to the CV in on the Hapax device. Using the CV tools on Ableton this is working okay. BUT - I have the TASCAM Model 24 and that’s proving tricky to get the audio out and into the back of the Hapax.
I’ve created an aggregate device on the Mac that has the Model 24 and P3S audio interfaces combined which just adds more latency.
I know the Pedal in on the PS3 can be a CV out clock. Will this transmit CV clock out when in controller mode? And . . . if yes, How do I set it up to do so?
I’m not from a modular/CV kind of background so the things I read in the manual don’t make much sense to me.
If anyone can suggest a way of getting the P3S and the Hapax to sync nicely and everything to feel relatively tight I will be super happy.
