Protools overbridge and anlog rytm mk 1

hey guys,

so i have a nice little setup in my apartment with an analog rytm mk1 digitakt, polybrute, microfreak, hx stomp and a roland rd700nx as a controller. Im using an ssl2+ for my d/a on my synths with a mackie 1604 and using overbridge to multitrack the rytm and the digitakt. everything works as it should dawless, however- I would like to also use the analog rytm as the master clock for live programming while protools is open but not playing. I use protool’s midi with my synths when writing as well so I would like to have the daw open as i program the drum machines.

bottom line, i just want to press play on my rytm while protools is open but inactive and the clock is sent to my other gear.

i think protools or overbridge is overriding midi clocking and only sending via usb but the settings on my elektron gear says otherwise so i’m unsure the solution
