Problems with Digitakt and logic 11

Hi guys,

I’m getting a weird thing happening with my digitakt when I have it connected to my laptop both when using overbridge and simply recording onto an audio track. If I press a key on my laptop all of the TRIG velocities on each track of my digitakt go to zero? Thinking its probably something to do with my midi settings? Any help would be much appreciated

I feel like I had this problem a few years ago with The OG DT. If I recall correctly it’s a midi loop problem. Sorry I can’t give specific instructions to fix it but I’d start by trying changing the MIDI settings for the offending track(s) in logic and/or your MIDI channel settings in the DT.

Ok, thanks! I’ll keep testing

I can’t be specific because I don’t use logic, but it sounds like you need to edit or disable the keyboard shortcuts. Logic has a bunch of them, some of which can be used with midi, and it sounds like digitakt is responding to midi being sent out by one of the shortcuts and is setting trig velocities to zero.

I might start by looking at velocity under trig parameters in the digitakt midi implementation chart and see where in your keyboard shortcuts list the overlap is occurring.
