I know this sounds newb as hell but I’m having trouble getting a gated sampling effect the way I want it with live recording. I have samples that I only want playing when my finger is held on the trig – my envelope is set to 0 attack and 0 decay with hold set to “note.” trig length set to inf. oddly enough it’ll record little stabs within one bar for the most part, but when i try to hit this pad sample on the 1 of each bar of my 4 bar loop it’s like the note off doesn’t register and the whole damn thing plays through, toppling over the next chord and all adding up to a mess. Again, the envelope is set correctly, and if I do stabby eights or whatever in 1 bar this issue doesn’t seem to happen. Any clues to what I’m doing wrong here?
