Problem upgrading A4: I lost my sounds from all projects

Hey,

I upgrade my electron for testing Overbridge 2.0.24 Public Beta (https://www.elektronauts.com/t/overbridge-2-0-24-public-beta/108025) and now I Iost my specific sounds/presets from all my projects. Basically all my tracks have now a disgusting basic square wave. Unfortunately I didn’t make backup, fucking stupid!

Neverthless, all the rest it’s right, patterns, automatisations… It’s just the sounds. I still keep all the presets in the view pool and I could recover some of them but other ones I don’t remember the names. So I could do it manually but if exists an easier possibility I would like to try it before.

Does anyone have any idea? I thought maybe downgrading to an older OS version or just my old version… Do you think should does that work?

I lost everything in a RYTM upgrade once… but I backed up first.

a friend just had the same issue a few days ago… he was pissed af
his conclusion was that he lost all the sounds that he didn’t properly save as such (Sounds)

Updated to 1.40 and lost all project sounds

Today I finally found the time for updating the A4mk1 to 1.40. Wanted to revisit some old projects and found that in most (not all) of them my sounds are reset to init sounds. So they are all unusable. All the sound design gone. I always save the sounds per project. This feels really sad. Demos since 2014… Sure I probably should have made backups of the sysex, but I’ve gone through many updates and this never happened. No idea, why this happened . Any help appreciated
