Problem recieving midi notes 0-7

The digitakt seems to be pitched two octaves lower than my other gear. Is there a way to change this? I can’t take the Octave of my midi keyboard low enought to trigger MIDI Notes 0-7. I’ve tried two different keyboards.

I’ve noticed that the digitakt only has 4 octaves of pitch support, starting at MIDI note 12 and ending at MIDI note 59 which explains why I need to transpose my Engine midi sequencer down one octave to hit the highest playable notes on Digitakt. I think maybe this means I can’t get to the lowest octave. Its strange because sometimes I seem fo able to get it to work and other times not. Is there a setting or something that could be causing this?

Thanks

likely to be something in the search results.

Thanks but there is no info on this issue in those threads. I did a search before posting. Its almost like the scale is offset somehow by a couple of octave.

I’ve figured out what was wrong now

how did you fix it ? , it may help others that have a similar issue.

yes i have a similar issue, how did you solve it?

The fix wasn’t related to the DT, I needed to change a setting on my controller
