Is there a way ? when i try to print to pdf, it doesnt look right and omits most replies…

there is probably some form of modern ‘intelligent’ tool in which you could describe what you want from a forum and it’ll generate a nice summary and pdf … i’m just not sure i can specify any without my post being flagged and removed.
Even though I don’t really like AI, you could try using Claude for web to pull out everything for you into a json or markdown file that prints better.

Try to add /print at the end of topic url right after thread number id, like that
https……../t/printing-full-thread-for-backup-offline-viewing/251067/print
It should give printer friendly version.
After that just print it.
Or save it to disk and “postprocess” it like you want.

i assume ai could group responses together , arrange things in to topics etc , … sure it can overcomplicate things too.
I consider myself fairly computer literate (though not in the Computer science and/ or programming sense) and had no idea you could do this! Very cool!

You can also use the /raw/topic_id URL to get markdown from a topic.
For example this thread’s URL would be https://www.elektronauts.com/raw/251067
For long topics you may need to add a parameter for page: ?page=2
Example: https://www.elektronauts.com/raw/233589?page=2
