Having returned to Octanation, I thought I’d FINALLY make good use of my nice Faderfox EC4.
Let’s talk about preferred controller layouts!
The EC4 is a 4x4 grid of encoders, as is the Midi Fighter Twister, but anything goes!
My initial ideas were:
Group 1– Level (or AMP!) and Cue for each track
Group 2– RTRG and RTIM for each track
Group 3– BASE, WDTH and Q for tracks 1–4
Group 4– BASE, WDTH and Q for tracks 1–4
But I’m wondering already if that’s the most performable layout, maybe not. Would love to hear some road warriors chime in on this.
