Powering Syntakt with a V mount battery?

I’m sorry if this is a super dumb question but I couldn’t find any proper info on the subject (the fact that I know next to nothing about power / electricity doesn’t help)

I have a bunch of V-mount batteries lying around the studio from various filming projects. Supposedly these should be plenty powerful and stable, more than an average power bank. I also have a few adapter plates for the V-mounts.

Is there any possibility I could power my Syntakt with such a combo?

Let’s say:
a SWIT 146WH V-mount (“14.4V capacity and a 200W/16A constant high load”, whatever that means)

mounted on a SmallRig plate (12v out)

… with a male to male power cable.

Thanks in advance for your input!

But, if that battery has no use anymore, even after selling it for half the new one price you can get one of these And still have cash for a coffee in Starbucks while testing the now mobile Syntakt:

I am using V Mounts for powering my syntakt. Therefore I build this power cable.

The only thing thing you have to care about, is the right polarity

Nice! Thats the cable I’ve got.

In the end I’m powering my ST with a K&F vmount but via the PD USBC and a birdcord adapter - works like a dream!
