Power cuts - do they harm our Elektrons?

Hey guys, my house is pretty new and my neighbours still perform some repairings in their flats so when they use some electric gear like drills etc. the main power circuit on my floor tends to lose power from time to time causing short 5-10sec power cuts.
Recently I was jamming with my machines (A4 and MNM) and those cuts happened twice during 15 mins period. When machines were back to life again, they seemed to operate just normal but I still have some paranoid thoughts if such things can damage the OS or hardware elements inside my boxes.

Does anyone know if it’s really dangerous or it’s just me being too obsessed with “mint” state of my gear? Thanks!

Well simpler power cuts, no. Because the machines are designed to be turned off in the middle of the project. In fact that’s how I do it every time. Just flick the power switch. But if it happens while you are saving, loading or recording, you might corrupt you project file and loose data. If you power Elektron with FUNCTION pressed you can check for errors and restore factory settings. Something bad might happen if you loose power during an OS update.

Also there are power bars that can provide back up power

It might be a good investment. DON’T look at this one, it was a fast search. You should measure total peak wattage of your computer and gear then seek the one that suits your needs. It might be a worthwhile investment.
