I am a new and happy owner of a Digitakt 2.
I am trying to optimize my setup for live performances, and I am looking for a power supply for the Digitakt 2 that is less bulky than the original one, whose cable is almost 2.5 meters long and ends up being too long for my configuration.

I found this one, but I am not sure whether I risk damaging the machine, even though the specifications should be correct to power it.
I got the Birdcord usb c PD → 12V and never had a problem with it. can run it off usb power bricks or power banks. i heard mixed experiences about the ripcord in terms of reliability so I went with Birdcord.
Ripcord should be fine. There’s some discussion in another topic here. It’s mostly about power banks but the cables are critical to the function of using a powerbank with an elektron device so there’s information. I’ll find you a link.
Generally speaking, anything with the correct wattage, voltage and then correct size/polarity of tip is fine, but you’ll find that lower quality PSU’s don’t produce power as consistently for the surge at startup so you’re better off with a higher than factory amperage than a lower one. None the less, anything would be fine if it’s in spec. When using a ripcord it might not matter as much as when using a brick style PSU.
