I had fun taking my OT out with a portable battery bank and Ripcord cable, and I wonder if any of you guys managed to come up with a similar portable setup for MnM and MD?
Power specifications for the mk2 models that I have states it needs 6v 3A and the ripcord cables only offer 6v 1.5A.
Have you guys found any way to make portable MnMD work?
I actually emailed ripcord in the past and he stated none of his devices will work for the 6v/3a required.

Probably standard 5V USB voltage is enough. There are internal regulators in the machines for generating the correct 3.3V, 5V and analog voltages so no worry.
Anyway I put my MD on a simple 6V acid-lead battery for outside usage. I had to solder the DC jack cable on the poles of the battery so this is DIY. Heavier than lithium-ion but 100% recyclable not like Li-ion.

Unfortunately I have 0 knowledge of electronics and how to solder things and stuff rather not risk frying my boxes
