Hello,

You should look at the total amp being pulled from the devices, that would be the main thing that prevents you from using one pack vs another.
Personally I am using an Omnicharge 20+ and swear by it as it is very versatile. They also have a bigger model, the Omni Ultimate+. In all cases, you could use a small powered USB hub to power all your devices.
Thanks for your answer. I’ve purchased the one below, I’ve been able to powe the following with some noise from BB:
1 Blackbox
3 1010music nanobox
1 retrokit rk-006
All connected to TX-06
Thanks
Be sure to check with the airline(s) about the max allowed capacity of the power bank. In general it’s around 27k mAh/10Wh but some airlines are more strict and others allow more like 2 power banks.
Depending on the usage per device and how many you use at once you may get anywhere for 1 hour to 8 hours of playtime running multiple devices. Lots of airlines provide usb ports for phone charging so it is also an option to charge your power bank while running devices from it if it supports charging and using it at the same time.
I wouldn’t run my expensive boxes directly from an airplane usb socket as you don’t know if the current can spike or not. A power bank between them will act like a fuse/safety net.
Another option is to fit your devices with internal batteries where possible. I’ve made an internal battery pack for my Digitakt of about 15k mAh usable capacity and it lasts about 8 hours. The capacity is more but it’s not possible to charge the pack fully inside the Digitakt due to current restrictions.
Good points thanks, I’m hoping that it will be ok to go in the airplane with it, it’s says airplane approved since it has 99.16Wh and airplanes will accept up to 100Wh, you made me wonder if it will be really ok
