I hope within the first year we get the option for individual track tempo multipliers. It appears to be incompatible with direct jump. A setup menu option for choosing one or the other would be sufficient.
Have you been able to check the rytm yet?
I hope individual track lengths are implemented the same way like the octatrack has it.

or better.
So polyrhythms are just diff length sequences? Like 1, 16 step pattern then another with say 12 steps…? I’m guessing the sequencer will be the same as A4…
Would be good to have actual diff time signatures like OT tho. I mainly used that to give extra long sequences for pads.
EDIT - I should say that’s sort of a question too as I’m thinking I’m missing something, rather than telling anyone what a polyrhythm is.
I asked about this at NAMM and was told the AR will be the same as the A4 for individual track lengths.
Different length sequences and often but not needed, different tempos. The OT allows for each track to run at one of several different multiples of the master tempo. In the A4 (and presumably the AR), you get individual track length and direct jump, but loose the tempo multiplier and, I believe, infinite play without all tracks being reset to step one after so many steps.

Cheers dood!!
I miss my OT.
If individual track tempo multipliers is a pipe dream, I’d be happy if there is a setting for a master track length of LCM (least common multiple). That way you avoid the reset to step one and the problems of an infinite master track length. Infinite is not needed without individual tempos. All patterns will loop in a finite amount of steps. The calculation is easy enough, let the RYTM loop naturally.
Edit: calculated the largest loop with 8 tracks with 64 steps available and it was a bit bigger than I thought, a little over 37.4 trillion steps till loop (64x61x59x53x47x43x41x37). So maybe a bit more limited than LCM, but something bigger than 64 and more intelligent than a power of 2.
lol
I definitely hope they bring back tempo multi/division & inf master like on OT, very under rated feature!
Just got to thinking about this again.
If there’s only one LFO per track and no midi sequencing going out, instead of track multipliers they should be able to give us individual track tempos (set the BPM for each track independently). Multipliers are nice if syncing other gear using midi clock. But, if I want 8 different tempos running in the AR, I’m not going to care about clock syncing other gear.
