It isn’t Elektron build quality, but I think it’s not too far off from what I remember of my Digitakt. I wouldn’t want to sit a Digitakt on my lap though, but this is the perfect weight and size for long term use there imo
Compared to Roland’s cheap plastic grooveboxes, this is built like a Rolls Royce…

My story is I wanted both Digi and Tracker and preordered Tracker, waited for 4+ months and money that I paid for preorder somehow came back from Polyend to my account. This was strange and I decided that it’s a sign and cancelled preorder and bought Digi on that money 
I don’t regret. It was just a spontaneous decision to preorder tracker and Digi is for sure a better thing to have and is easier to sell if I need so.

I’ve had my v2 since October and I’m very happy with the feel of the buttons and knob as well.
I do get nervous taking it places and would love to have the case for it, but after shipping its $120. I noticed they are making a lid for it and hope those will be available to buy world wide.
