Polyend Tracker Mini

The original Tracker has an NES Rom player built in too

I am curious where you live. What cities have stores that stock gear like this?

At a Guitar Center in the DC Metro region (the States). It was used, very lightly, the plastic was still on the screen. There’s actually two shops out here that had used Trackers in stock.

7 Corners, Fairfax, or Maryland? Another DC-ish on the board?!

Also, I misread and thought it was the Mini.

Oh snap! I’m out in Fairfax. The Tracker I saw was down in Alexandria (Duke St.). The other was up in Rockville, MD.

Edit: Yeah, OG Tracker, not Mini

Last Sunday I saw the first real user feedback, on Polyend Backstage. By real user I mean someone who made a regular purchase and got it. They said to be new to the tracker workflow and their feedback was very positive.

Found this looking for some impressions, at least Polyend have got their entry into this out the way, looks fun to use! Very tempted by something that looks pretty complete and that portable. Not unlike Benn Jordan’s preview he did a few months ago

M8 seems a bit small for me to enjoy even though it’s got such more powerful synths, Polyend please add an FM synth engine!

Interesting, after the song ends: samples breakdown.

Watching that first video reminded me very quickly of the various reasons I sold my Tracker with no regrets. I like the size of the Mini but there’s just something off with the buttons for me.

It’s going to be a common comment but gimme a M8 in that size and it’d be even more incredible.

watching freebeatz vid there I actually prefer the mini interface to the full size polyend even tho I’m still not convinced by the ergonomics. I always found the full size ui to be a bit too spread out for my liking. I dig the new menu navigation (hold menu) vibe, n the ± instead of the jogwheel. looks nice.

GAS brain: Such an interesting “sample the environment and make music” kind of device. The reverb sounds incredible on this thing. And making beautiful synth pads out of anything looks easy.

Anti-GAS brain: but would I really bring it with me if I also need to bring corded headphones?

earbuds for on the go.

cans for at home. :headphones::houses:

I got mine last week and can’t put it down. My first tracker though so I’m sure that’s part of it. It’s absolutely fun, perfect size, huge screen. It’s like Steamdeck for music.

Yeah, my GAS brain had the same answer unfortunately.

Just got a notification that mine is on the way!!!

Why is there still a lack of reviews? Is there some kind of embargo here? Everything I see so far is selective marketing. It’s like someone at Polyend thought Bad Gear would be a good place to push a promo.

The only reviews I watch are from @blushresponse

The usb multi out to an iPad with the Roland S1 as a master keyboard gives me sleepless nights…
