now with jog wheel i will consider
I’d like to know if this model will allow you to actually resample the master output?
Nice! And hopefully with the 2.1 firmware update they promised more than 6 months ago. The 2.1 beta is already 6 months old. After that no betas were released.
Is there actual info on this?
If you watch the background cinematic, it makes it look like a big thumbstick…
The blown up view briefly shows directional buttons underneath.
edit:
snipped it:
I would think almost certainly not.
It’s a new case
Looks very nice - the tracker mini wasn’t for me, but that is a nice improvement to the look of it, screen appears to have a glass covering over the bare display on this version too.
Tracker Mini …Plus?
not that I expected it, but the jog wheel is enough of a change to hope…
looking forward to what the price will be

how do you guys like the headphone at the bottom after all of your time with the device…?
“same classic device, new premium build” - say it’s gonna be a few bucks extra somehow, also enjoying how a device that’s out two years is classic now lol.
Idk, I’m getting zero gas or buyer’s remorse from this really. If someone was to turn up at my door and offer me a straight swap I guess I’d take it, but not gonna go through the hassle of a return and then probably pay an extra €200ish for the privilege. Like I say, having had one for a few weeks I feel like losing the coloured buttons would be a bigger deal for me than getting a jogwheel - if it is in fact a jogwheel, would be kinda crazy if not tho - and that’s the main practical thing.
Not had it long like I say but I don’t find the headphone out placement an issue, using HD25s with the short lead and L shape pin mainly, or just plugging at my desk. Actually makes a lot more sense than hanging over the screen. Speaking of which, top marks for glare resistance.
Main thing I want is a thru mode for slices, otherwise I’m pretty happy. Tried both betas and basically didn’t use the the note input mode at all even when I had it fwiw, currently on the audio over usb one. Both seem pretty stable to me.
I don’t think it has a jogwheel: from the screenshot above it looks like buttons underneath.
Yeah, just edited the post there after looking again at the image above. Ballsy imho to go for that kind of design if it’s not a jogwheel tho. Guess we’ll have to wait to find out more, wouldn’t necessarily read that much into the artistic marketing vid.
How would it work if it was a jog wheel?
You have the arrow keys and wheel on tracker+ and mini, so wouldnt this have to be a wheel and buttons underneath to maintain current functionality?
Tbh the full extent of my thinking is that in the first image above it really looks like it should be a jogwheel.
I agree tho and a jog wheel does make sense on a tracker
The only reason I returned or sold my Mini twice was because the headphone connection on the bottom. I sit in bed with my portable devices on my chest or stomach so I dont have to hold the weight while I’m playing around with them…the stupid headphone jack always messed that up…if not for that, I would have kept this for sure.
the tracker mini they always wanted to make…
I like my OG Tracker Mini but a jog wheel would be a improvement.
I’m very happy with the headphone at the bottom. I use it a lot on the bed and I’ve never experience any inconveniences with it. I never thought that it was a problem. And when you are in a chair for me is better.
I also thought it was a wheel at first but I think you need the arrow keys for navigation unless there is some clever thing for that.
